Introducing Craetorus- a Seattle, WA band with a unique and contemplative sound that sonically blends various musical genres. With their introspective lyrics and tinges of catchiness, Craetorus leaves its audience with catharsis and a yearning for self-reflection. Their music is a conglomeration of jazz, R&B, psychedelia, prog rock, and avant-garde indie, resulting in a sound that stands out from most crowds.
Forming in 2022 in the legendary slums of Kitsap County, Craetorus has been on the path to musical discovery since with Darla Rae, Jon Garber, Lychen Gipaya, and Ryan Anthony Brooks. Streaming where you get your music with an EP release in 2023 titled, “Odes to the Toads”.

Darla Rae
Songwriter/Keys
Darla Rae (she/they) is the front person of “Craetorus”. Their musical journey includes being a member in “Foxing Gloves” (keys/vocals) from 2014-2018. From 2018 to now, Darla Rae has supported, collaborated and featured across many musicians from around the PNW. She founded “Craetorus” with friends in 2021, solidifying the lineup in 2022.
Jon Garber
Bassist
Jon (he/him) joined “Craetorus” in late February 2022 as the bassist and has been enjoying the ride since. Jon is also the bassist, producer and co-founder of “Audioboi”. He was formerly a member of the band, “The Pro-Nouns”, from 2014 to 2017.
Ryan Anthony Brooks
Lead Guitarist/ Songwriter
Ryan (he/him) is no stranger to the music scene, having been in several musical projects of a wide array of genres, including “The Pro-Nouns” as their frontperson and guitarist. Ryan joined “Craetorus” in late April of 2022. He also has his own solo music project.
Lychen Gipaya Howard
Drummer
Lychen (he/they/it) has been with “Craetorus” since April of 2022, but has been a part of several music projects! Lychen was also the drummer of the band, “The Pro-Nouns”. His style is dynamic, groovy, with pure heart and energy.
